Dr. Rearick’s practice has included acute care, skilled home care and elder services. As a certified Case Manager, she has provided community-based professional case management for individuals with developmental disabilities and young adults with special health care needs. Dr. Rearick has taught in traditional pre-licensure, accelerated BSN and RN-to-BSN programs with a focus on Introduction to Professional Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Chronic Illness; at the graduate level she has taught Nurse Educator Courses as well as Nursing Research. She has developed and teaches in our MSN in Nursing Case Management and Certificate programs.

Dr. Mullaney has been teaching at Framingham State University since the fall of 2008, primarily in the MSN program teaching the leadership concentration courses and a few of the core courses. Nursing education has been her focus for the past 35 years, and she also worked in staff development at Framingham Union Hospital (FUH) for 5 years. Prior to that, Dr. Mullaney was an assistant nurse manager on a surgical floor at FUH. Her research interests include nursing leadership and management development and herd immunity in populations.

Dr. Thomas has been a nurse educator for fifteen years. Her experience includes teaching at the associate, baccalaureate and graduate levels. She is certified as a nurse educator through the National League of Nursing. Her research and publications are in the area of resilience in pre-licensure nursing students. Her clinical background includes specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. She also practiced as a pediatric primary care provider for over a decade.
